Kerala police who had filed a case against Jayamala last week, for entering the sanctum sanatorium of Sabarimala, cleared that they have no plans to arrest the actress. The state police was clarifying their plans to Justice N Ananda as he was hearing the petition by the actress seeking anticipatory bail as she was fearing an arrest.
The actress hogged headlines few years ago when she claimed that she had touched the idol at the Sabarimala temple on her visit in 1986.The actress who was then at her late twenties was thus violating the rules of the famed temple, which forbid women in between 10-50, to visit the deity.
