Shaji Kailas directed Mammootty's suspense thriller August 15 which was slated for release during Christmas was postponed to February 3, as the shoot got delayed.
Now the latest we hear is that Aroma Mani the producer has told the theatres in Kerala that the film has been postponed again!
The film is a sequel to August 1 directed by Siby Malayil, more than 20 years back.
Reports suggest that the movie has come out well. Mammooty is said to be stunning as the investigative cop Perumal.
S.N Swamy who wrote the earlier film has done the sequel also. Pradeep Nair is the cinematographer.
In 2010, Mammooty's first release was Shaji Kailas directed Aroma Mani's Drona which bombed big time. Let us hope Shaji Kailas, Aroma Mani and Mammootty would have better luck in 2011 with August 15, which has now been postponed indefinitely.
