The Kerala box office is alive and kicking. Marykondu Oru Kunjadu is a super hit and the clear number one among the Christmas and recent releases. In 10 days, the film has taken a distributor’s share of Rs 2.65 crore, which is fantastic and almost the entire production cost of the film!
At number two is Mammootty’s Best Actor, which will cover its cost from Kerala theatricals.
In third position is Dileep’s Karaysthan, a big hit for the actor. At number four is Again Kasargode Kader Bhai, a low budget film that took an opening in main stations and is good in B and C stations.
At number five is Mohanlal’s Kandahar, which turned out to be one of his biggest flops.
